Spooky Biscuit Cookies
Ingredients:
1 can of butter biscuits
3 tbsp of melted butter
3 tbsp of cinnamon sugar
For the icing:
1 package of cream cheese (softened)
2 cups of powdered sugar
1 tsp of vanilla extract
1/8 cup of milk
For decoration:
- Sugar eyes
Instructions:
Prepare the biscuits:
Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the biscuit can (usually around 350°F or 175°C).
Open the can of butter biscuits and separate the dough.
Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or lightly greased.
Add cinnamon sugar:
In a small bowl, mix together the cinnamon sugar.
Brush the tops of the biscuits with the melted butter, then sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over each one.
Bake:
Bake the biscuits according to the package instructions (typically for about 8-10 minutes) until they are golden brown and cooked through.
Remove from the oven and let them cool completely.
Make the icing:
In a medium bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with a hand mixer or stand mixer until smooth.
Gradually add the powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and milk. Mix until the icing is smooth and spreadable. If the icing is too thick, add a little more milk to reach your desired consistency.
Decorate the cookies:
Once the biscuits have cooled, spread a generous amount of cream cheese icing on each biscuit.
Place sugar eyes on top of each iced biscuit to make them spooky!
Serve and enjoy:
Your spooky biscuit cookies are ready to be served! These make for a fun Halloween treat or a sweet, cinnamon-spiced snack. Enjoy!
